Engine Diagnostics & Electrical Repair, Fixed On Location

Won't start, stalling, dash warning lights, or wiring gremlins — diagnosed with real tools on-site instead of guessed at with a parts cannon.

Diagnostic tools connected to a UTV for engine and electrical troubleshooting

What’s Included

Engine and electrical problems get misdiagnosed more than almost anything else on a UTV — real diagnostic tools cut out the guesswork.

Won't-Start & Charging Diagnostics

Battery, starter, and charging-system testing to find out why a machine won't crank or dies without warning.

Wiring Harness & Connector Repair

Tracing and repairing chafed, corroded, or rodent-damaged wiring — a common failure point on machines that live outdoors or run dusty trails.

ECU Fault Codes & Dash Warning Lights

Code scanning and diagnosis for check-engine and dash warning lights, ignition timing, and sensor faults.

Winch & Accessory Installation

Clean, properly-fused installation of winches, light bars, and other aftermarket electronics — wired in the right way instead of spliced into the factory harness.

Who Needs This

Electrical gremlins are exactly the kind of problem that's easier to catch in the conditions where they happen — heat, vibration, dust — than on a cold shop bench.

  • The machine cranks but won't start, or starts and dies immediately.
  • You're getting intermittent electrical gremlins — lights flickering, gauges acting up, random stalling.
  • A dash warning light came on and you want it actually diagnosed, not just cleared.
  • You want a winch, light bar, or other accessory wired in correctly instead of a driveway splice job.

Why Diagnose It On-Site

Intermittent electrical faults often disappear once a machine is loaded and hauled somewhere else. Diagnosing on-site — in the heat, dust, and vibration where the fault actually shows up — is often the difference between finding the real problem and chasing a ghost.

Common Questions

Why won't my UTV start?

The most common culprits are a dead or corroded battery, a failing starter, a blown fuse, or a fuel-delivery problem — often after sitting for a while between rides. A proper diagnostic checks the electrical system and the fuel/spark side rather than guessing and swapping parts.

Can a UTV electrical problem be fixed on-site?

Most electrical diagnosis and repair — wiring, connectors, battery and charging systems, fuse and relay issues — can be handled on location with a multimeter, wiring diagrams, and the right connectors and parts on hand.

Do you install winches and light bars?

Yes — winch and accessory installation is one of our named electrical sub-services. We wire accessories in with proper fusing and routing instead of tapping directly into factory circuits, which is the usual cause of accessory-install electrical gremlins down the road.

What does engine diagnostics actually involve?

It starts with pulling any stored fault codes, then checking compression, spark, fuel delivery, and sensor readings to isolate the actual cause of a rough-running, stalling, or underpowered engine rather than replacing parts on a guess.
