QUESTIONS

REPAIR FAQ

How much does UTV repair usually cost?+

It depends on the job — a clutch or belt service is a different cost than a full suspension rebuild. We give flat-rate, upfront pricing after our mechanic diagnoses the issue on-site, before any work starts, so there are no surprises on the invoice.

What are common UTV problems you see?+

The most frequent calls are clutch and drive-belt wear, suspension and shock fatigue from trail abuse, electrical gremlins (won't start, dead battery, blown fuses), and tire damage from rocks and cactus. Most of these can be fixed on-site in a single visit.

Is it hard to repair a UTV yourself?+

Basic maintenance like oil changes and air filters is DIY-friendly. Clutch, suspension, and electrical diagnostics take specialized tools and experience — that's where a mobile mechanic saves you time, mistakes, and a trip to a shop.

How often should you service your UTV?+

Most manufacturers recommend an oil and filter service every 25-50 hours of riding, with a fuller inspection (belt, suspension, fasteners) at least once a season. Trail-heavy riders should service more often — see our Maintenance & Tune-Ups page for a full schedule.

Do you work on Polaris, Can-Am, and Yamaha side-by-sides?+

Yes — Polaris RZR, Can-Am Maverick, and Yamaha YXZ are the platforms we see most, alongside most other UTV and side-by-side makes. See our Brand-Specific Repair page for details on each.
